We need your help
Youth in Focus provides our life-changing photography experience to all students for free. We are committed to providing a high level of program quality; we expect a lot from our students and we expect a lot from the adults. Our small class size allows for transformative relationships to develop and for a deep level of personal attention to help students develop skills to their full potential. We provide all necessary materials including a quality camera for each student to take home with them during the class quarter. Our custom-designed photography space is inviting, well-equipped and well-maintained. Our teaching artists are all paid professionals. We utilize an extensive evaluation protocol to assess program outcomes. In short, we provide an after school photography experience designed at every level to support students on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. We are always in need of cameras in good condition that we can either use in our classes or sell to generate funds to purchase equipment we need. We can occasionally use other photographic gear as well. If you have gear that you’d like to donate, please call us first! at 206.723.1479. We will be happy to provide a receipt for tax purposes for any in-kind gifts.
