Laura, an activist anthropologist from the US/Mexico borderlands, finally moved with her small family back to Seattle’s Central District for inspiration and expressions’ sake. Her artist husband, creative young daughter, and super-dog all love the vibrant, rainy city. Laura thinks her rich experience with non-profits and ability to appear interesting landed her this great job at Youth in Focus. With degrees in cultural and environmental anthropology, Laura loves people, their voices and perspectives, and their modes of journeying through this life. She finds the culture and environment of Youth in Focus fascinating, and plans to lovingly care for all of their administrative needs.
