This summer Youth in Focus is offering a one-week intensive Digital Photography Camp, open to youth 13-19 years old!
Come learn how to make the most of both technical skills and your artistic imagination. Spend a week under the tutelage of a professional photographer and make friends with other young people who are passionate about creative expression. This class will cover the possibilities for both digital cameras and cell phone cameras.
You’ll learn a ton, have a great time, and feel good knowing that all workshop fees are going to support Youth in Focus. Unlike our usual classes, this camp has a fee attached, as it’s a fundraiser to support YIF’s work offering free classes for those who can’t afford it.
Dates: Monday 7/30/12 – Friday 8/3/12
Times: 9am – Noon (bring a brown bag snack or light lunch)
Cost: Sliding scale $200 – 350

Photography 101: Composition and Philosophies
Image Creation: On-location shooting & photography mentoring
Photo Processing: Use Adobe Lightroom to digitally edit your photos, and preview some of the best apps available for mobile photography
Printing: How to create gorgeous tangible prints from digital files
Sharing: Online presentation options and social media photography communities
*No experience necessary! Students of all experience levels welcome.
